JCR Exec

Your 2009/10 JCR Executive Committee (Exec) were elected to run the day-to-day business of the JCR... including Bops! However, it takes more than 8 people to run the JCR, so be sure to see more information on the wider JCR Committee also.

The Executive Committee

President

James James Nation

james.nation <at> merton.ox.ac.uk | Facebook | St. Albans 4:1

Hi everyone! My name's James, a historian here at Merton, and I'll be your JCR President for the upcoming year. As your President, I'm responsible for representing the views and interests of the JCR to the college and wider University as well as ensuring that myself and the Exec work tirelessly to perform our jobs to a high standard. Most of all, I love to talk to people especially fellow students and so anybody is more than welcome to contact me regarding any matter via email, phone, or in person at any time. As of the autumn, I will be in St. Albans 4:1 so if there is anything you would like to discuss, or if you just want a chat and a *cheeky* bourbon biscuit, then please pop along! Otherwise, I'm sure you will see me around College.

Vice President

Sabrina Sabrina Robinson

sabrina.robinson-caturla <at> merton.ox.ac.uk | Facebook | Rose Lane 2:1

Hiya, I'm Sabrina and I'm the Vice President for the year. Mostly, I'll take care of JCR Meeting Motions and Minutes (all will be made clear in the first week, hopefully!) as well as Room Ballots for your second year, Open Days, and Interviews (where hopefully I met many of you way back in October!). Can't wait to meet everyone and hopefully have an excellent year. I'm always happy to chat and answer questions (just try getting me to shut up) so do get in touch!
