Hey,
I think this is mainly for finalists but have a look if you think it's something for you.

Subject: Fully funded studentships on the Life Sciences Interface and Systems Biology Doctoral Training Programmes
Dear all
We still have up to 6 fully-funded places available for UK students on the Life Sciences Interface (LSI) and Systems Biology (SysBio) Doctoral Training Programmes. We are looking in particular for students who are interested in Computational Biology, Medical Imaging and Signals, or Bioinformatics and Mathematical Genomics on the LSI Programme, and in Mathematical or Computational Biology on the SysBio programmes. These studentships would be particularly suitable to those with degrees in mathematics, computer science, statistics and engineering.
Details of some of the research being undertaken within these groups can be found at:
http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/activities/compbio/
http://www.maths.ox.ac.uk/groups/mathematical-biology
http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/research
Full details of the application process are available on the DTC website at:
http://www.sysbiodtc.ox.ac.uk/how-to-apply.html and http://www.lsidtc.ox.ac.uk/how-to-apply.html. Our closing date for applications is Friday 20th July 2012.
Could you please forward this e-mail to any final year or MSc students in your department or College who might be interested? Informal enquiries can be addressed to the Centre Director (David.Gavaghan@cs.ox.ac.uk).
Thanks very much for your help!
Best wishes
