A message from your VP-elect about helping out in freshers' week. I'd definitely recommend getting involved- it's good fun and a good way to get to know the freshers!

Hi Guys,
As I am going to be VP next year I need to find helpers for freshers' week. Even if you can only manage one day all help will be really welcome. Jobs will include showing freshers to their rooms, taking them to the tutorial office, doing college tours, taking them to the union, to the university freshers' fair, helping out with club nights and alternative evenings.
I am also looking for people who would be prepared to help out with Merton's freshers' fair, both on the stands and showing people where the Pav is and generally being around for the sports day.
At the moment I would appreciate finding out who's interested and if there are any activities you are really keen to help out with. Also, if anyone is peer support trained (either at school or college will be fine) that will really help with the club nights.
