The elections for next year's Exec are rapidly approaching. As such, anyone who is considering running for a position should be looking to speak to the relevant incumbent and sort out their manifestos. For inspiration (or a laugh), you can find past manifestos with this link:
Candidates should also see the rules about manifesto content, which are at the end of this e-mail.
The schedule for the elections is as follows:
End of Sunday 3rd Week (6th May) - Deadline for nominations and manifestos for JCR President.
Later in 3rd Week (Date and time TBC) - Hustings for JCR President
Friday of 3rd Week (11th May) - Polling for JCR President
End of Sunday 4th Week (13th May) - Deadline for nominations and manifestos for all other Exec positions
Later in 4th Week (Date and time TBC) - Hustings for all other Exec positions
Friday 4th Week (18th May) - Polling for all other Exec positions
Of most importance right now is the deadline for manifestos, so do get working on them as soon as possible!
Best of luck,
